The delegation from the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA) attended the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) Working Group IV (Electronic Commerce), 68th session, in New York, United States, from 24 to 28 March 2025.
SCIA representatives Wang Yuanyuan, Deputy Director of China (Shenzhen) Intellectual Property Arbitration Center, together with Xie Xinyu, Deputy Legal Counsel of China (Shenzhen) Intellectual Property Arbitration Center, and Yao Hongjun, SCIA arbitrator, proposed amendments to specific clauses pertaining to the theme "default rules for data provision contract (third revision)." They also shared their practical insights related to the SCIA's role in resolving data disputes and engaged in discussions led by Director Alan Davidson during the conference.
Additionally, the SCIA delegation met with Iris Gunther, Director of the Department of Brand Protection and Sustainable Development at the International Trademark Association (INTA), to explore collaboration on intellectual property arbitration and dispute resolution mechanisms.
