Announcement of the 2025 Winners of the SCIA Council Member Sir William Blair Scholarship

Sir William Blair Scholarship, established by Sir William Blair, Council Member of the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA), former High Court Judge in England and Wales, the first President of the Board of Appeal of the European Supervisory Authorities, has concluded its selection process for the 2025 academic year. Since applications opened in May 2025, the Scholarship Selection Committee, chaired by Sir William Blair himself, received 22 qualified applications from both China and the United Kingdom. Applicants included university students, visiting scholars, and legal practitioners.

After multiple rounds of discussion and comprehensive evaluation of applicants' academic achievements, research accomplishments, practical and study experience, future potential, the Selection Committee has finalized this year's list of awardees. They are:

Chinese Awardee: Weiyao Han, female, a PhD student at the University of Hong Kong.

British Awardee: Natalia Wilusz, female, Junior Associate at Hagens Berman EMEA LLP.

Details regarding the scholarship award and related matters will be communicated separately by the Scholarship Selection Committee Office.
