The SCIA and Shenzhen Lawyers Association Jointly Hold Training Program on International Commercial Arbitration

From 28 November to 12 December 2025, the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (also known as the South China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, GBA International Arbitration Center, hereinafter referred to as the SCIA) and Shenzhen Lawyers Association jointly held "SCIA & Shenzhen Lawyers Association Training on International Commercial Arbitration."

This training program featured 10 lectures delivered by instructors, including experts, scholars, SCIA arbitrators, and heads of operational departments, covering all aspects and stages of international commercial arbitration.

It highlighted innovative course content, including theoretical instruction, case analysis, group discussions, and practical simulations. Conducted in both Chinese and English, the program provided valuable guidance for participating lawyers engaged in international dispute resolution practice. Forty-six lawyers completed the program on 12 December, with ten of them receiving the title of "Outstanding Trainee" for their exceptional performance.

Du Huanfang, Dean of the Academy for the Foreign-Related Rule of Renmin University of China and SCIA Arbitrator, lectured on "Revision Background and Key Contents of the New Arbitration Law."
