On 2 December 2025, Neil Kaplan, Former Chairperson of the Hong Kong International Arbitration Center (HKIAC), visited the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (also known as the South China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, Greater Bay Area International Arbitration Center, hereinafter referred to as "SCIA"). During the visit, Neil Kaplan and Liu Xiaochun, President of the SCIA, held in-depth discussions. Since 1987, SCIA and HKIAC have maintained long-term exchanges and cooperation, jointly promoting cross-border economic and trade collaboration.

Accompanying Kaplan on his visit was Winnie Tam SC, SCIA Arbitrator and Former Chairman of the Hong Kong Bar Association.
