Inaugurated on 1 November 2021, the China (Shenzhen) Securities and Futures Arbitration Center is a specialized branch of the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA). As the first-of-its-kind arbitration platform jointly established by an international arbitration institution and a stock exchange, it is the outcome of the pilot reform measures authorized by the central government, and China's first pilot arbitration center for the securities and futures industry following the issuance of the Opinions on Launching Pilot Program on Arbitration in Securities and Futures Industries by the China Securities Regulatory Commission (SCRC) and the Ministry of Justice.
On 1 November 021, the inauguration ceremony of the China (Shenzhen) Securities and Futures Arbitration Center was held in 41/F, West Square of Shenzhen Stock Exchange.

China (Shenzhen) Securities and Futures Arbitration Center has signed strategic cooperation framework agreements with China Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation Limited, Securities Association of China, China Futures Association, China Association for Listed Companies, Asset Management Association of China, Shenzhen Securities and Futures Dispute Resolution Center (SFDRC), and promoted SCIA to have signed cooperation framework agreements with Industry and Information Technology Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality, and China Capital Market Institute. China (Shenzhen) Securities and Futures Arbitration Center strives to conduct in-depth cooperation with capital markets industry associations, both domestic and abroad, with the objective to promote a highly integrated dispute resolution framework of capital markets.
On 1 November 2021, China (Shenzhen) Securities and Futures Arbitration Center signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Securities Association of China and other organizations.
On 7 July 2023, SCIA signed the Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement with China Capital Market Institute.
On 21 December 2022, SCIA signed the Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement with the Industry and Information Technology Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality.
Model Arbitration Clauses
Model Arbitration Clause I
Any dispute arising from or in connection with this contract shall be submitted to China (Shenzhen) Securities and Futures Arbitration Center for arbitration.
Model Arbitration Clause II
Any dispute arising from or in connection with this contract shall be submitted to the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (the SCIA) for arbitration. The arbitration shall be conducted at the China (Shenzhen) Securities and Futures Arbitration Center.
Model Arbitration Clause III
Any dispute arising from or in connection with this contract shall be submitted to the Shenzhen Securities and Futures Dispute Resolution Center or ____ (an industry association) for mediation. If any party is unwilling to mediate or the mediation fails, the dispute shall be referred to the China (Shenzhen) Securities and Futures Arbitration Center.
(The parties may also agree to submit the dispute for mediation by national and local capital markets industry associations such as the Securities Association of China, the China Futures Association, the China Association for Listed Companies, and the Asset Management Association of China.)
