Organization for the Harmonization of Business Law in Africa (OHADA)

OHADA was established by the Treaty on the Harmonization of Business Law in Africa, signed on 17 October 1993, as revised on 17 October 2008. Its aim is to address the legal and judicial insecurity in its member states. The organization has 17 member states.

Over the years, OHADA has served as an important tool for legal unification in its member states and the development of business environment.

SCIA and AFSA signed an MoU on 7 December 2021 and agreed for OHADA to settle in the SCIA Tower in a cooperative manner.
