On Jan 21, Richard Atkinson, the President of the Law Society of England and Wales, and Will Miller, the head of International Affairs for Asia of the Law Society of England and Wales, visited the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (also known as the Greater Bay Area International Arbitration Center, hereinafter referred to as the "SCIA"). Liu Xiaochun, the president of SCIA, introduced the innovative development of international arbitration in Shenzhen Special Economic Zone and the Greater Bay Area since China's reform and opening up. The two sides had an in-depth exchange on the role of international arbitration in Sino-British economic and trade cooperation. Huang Guoyong, the SCIA assistant president and director of the Department of International Cooperation and Development, and relevant staff members participated in the meeting.
