This year marks the 51st anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia. Over the years, SCIA has built a good cooperative relationship with the legal and business communities in Malaysia, such as AIAC, to jointly serve China-Malaysia economic and trade exchanges and cross-border dispute resolution. Last year, the Malaysian Minister of Law and Institutional Reforms in the Prime Minister’s Department, the Deputy Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry, and others visited SCIA to exchange and offer suggestions on promoting further cooperation in international arbitration and better serving the economic and trade exchanges between China and Malaysia. In the new panel of SCIA arbitrators launched on 21 February 2025, there are nine arbitrators from Malaysia, covering a wide range of professional fields, providing parties with more diverse, professional, and convenient choices. In the future, SCIA will further deepen cooperation and exchanges with the business and legal communities in Malaysia. SCIA will be committed to providing professional and efficient dispute resolution services for enterprises and better serve the construction of investment and business environments for enterprises in both countries.
