On 22 September 2025, the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA) and the Vienna International Arbitral Centre (VIAC) signed a cooperation agreement in Qianhai, Shenzhen, to deepen international arbitration collaboration between China and Austria.

Prior to the signing ceremony, Liu Xiaochun, President of the SCIA, met with Alexander Petcche, a member of the board of directors of the VIAC.

Participants in the meeting included Ana Stanič, a member of VIAC's International Advisory Board; Xi Xiangyang, General Counsel of the SCIA; Huang Guoyong, Assistant President and Director of International Cooperation and Development Department of the SCIA; He Yin, Assistant President of the SCIA and Director of the China (Shenzhen) Securities and Futures Arbitration Center; and Wang Hao, Deputy Director of the Research Department of the SCIA.
