On 17 November 2025, Sundaresh Menon, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Singapore, led a delegation to visit the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA). Gao Xiaoli, Justice of the Second Rank and Vice President of the Supreme People's Court (SPC), and Cindy Wee, Consul-General of Consulate-General of the Republic of Singapore in Guangzhou, accompanied the visit. 

Liu Xiaochun, President of the SCIA briefed the delegation on the development of international arbitration in the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone since China's reform and opening-up. They held in-depth discussions on China–Singapore cooperation and exchanges in international arbitration, recent practices in the recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards by courts in both countries, as well as  SCIA's role in facilitating economic and trade interactions between China and Singapore.
