On March 21, 2026, the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (also known as the South China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, Greater Bay Area International Arbitration Center, hereinafter referred to as the SCIA) hosted the 2026 APEC China Year: International Arbitration Spring Reception at the SCIA Tower in Qianhai, Shenzhen. The event was joined by members of the SCIA Council, heads of relevant government departments, and over 300 Chinese and overseas SCIA arbitrators, along with representatives from the business and legal communities.

During the gathering, members of the SCIA Council and guests looked back on the journey of international arbitration in the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone and the progress made in building the Greater Bay Area International Arbitration Center. Together, they looked ahead to advancing the high-quality development of international arbitration in Shenzhen during the APEC China Year.
