On March 22, 2026, Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA) chief representatives from 12 APEC economies—including the Republic of Korea, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, the United States, Russia, Australia, Papua New Guinea, Chile, and China's Taiwan region—made their way to Shenzhen at the invitation of the SCIA. They experienced Shenzhen's business environment firsthand and gained a genuine insight into its innovation ecosystem, development vitality and openness.

The year 2026 marks the APEC China Year, and the 33rd APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting will be held in Shenzhen from November 18 to 19.
