From 25 to 26 June 2026, the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (also known as the Greater Bay Area International Arbitration Center, hereinafter referred to as the "SCIA") and the China Mining Association (CMA) jointly hosted the 2026 Mining Management and Development Training in Shenzhen and Hong Kong SAR.
The program brought together over 60 participants, including executives from mining and energy enterprises and senior mining and energy lawyers from across the country.
At the opening ceremony, Liu Xiaochun, President of the SCIA, and Cheng Liwei, President of the CMA, delivered opening remarks.
An Xin, Vice President of the SCIA, and Che Changbo, Secretary General of the CMA, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on behalf of the SCIA and the CMA.
The signing ceremony was witnessed by Li Jinfa, former leader of the Ministry of Natural Resources and former Director of the China Geological Survey, along with President Liu Xiaochun and President Cheng Liwei.
The training program featured sessions and on-site instruction at the SCIA, the Faculty of Law of the University of Hong Kong, and the South China International Arbitration Center (HK) (SCIAHK).
