On 11 September 2026, the 2026 (28th) China Mining Conference and Exhibition was held in Tianjin, China.
The event was hosted by the China Mining Association and supported by the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (also known as the Greater Bay Area International Arbitration Center and the South China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, hereinafter referred to as the "SCIA").
During the conference, SCIA hosted a special seminar on "Dispute Resolution in the Internationalization of China's Mining Industry", which focused on in-depth discussions regarding legal risk prevention and cross-border dispute resolution practices in the context of enterprises’ cross-border operations.
A total of 150 representatives from key mining enterprises, SCIA arbitrators, and lawyers at home and abroad participated in the seminar.

Luan Zhengming, SCIA Arbitrator and Founding Partner of Beijing Rainmaker Law Firm, spoke on "Key Issues and Countermeasures in International Mining Investment".
Huang Guoyong, Assistant President and Director of the International Cooperation and Development Department of the SCIA, President of the SCIA Kashi Center, and Director of the SCIA Jiangmen Center, addressed the audience on the topic of "Dispute Resolution Strategies in the Internationalization of China's Mining Industry".
Zhou Saijun, SCIA Arbitrator, Director of the Environment, Resources and Energy Law Professional Committee of the All China Lawyers Association, and Senior Partner of Beijing Tiantai Law Firm, moderated the roundtable discussion. The China Mining Conference and Exhibition is a global event hosted by the China Mining Association. Founded in 1999 and held annually, it is one of the world's four major mining exhibitions.
The event covers the entire industrial chain, including geological exploration, development and trading, and technical equipment. It features three main segments: summit forums, industry exhibitions, and special events, aiming to build a platform for international mining cooperation and information exchange.
The exhibition area of the 2026 session reached 65,000 square meters, a record high, attracting 658 enterprises from 25 countries and regions around the world.
