Applications for 2026 Sir William Blair Scholarship opened in April 2026. The Scholarship Selection Committee, chaired by the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA) Council Member Sir William Blair, reviewed applications from candidates in China and the UK, taking into consideration their academic achievements, research contributions, practical experience, proposed further studies and future potential. Following several rounds of deliberation, the Committee has selected the following recipients for 2026:

Gao Qian, PhD candidate in Law at Durham University

Shouyu Chong, Lecturer in Business Law at University of Leeds; Research Fellow, Singapore International Dispute Resolution Academy at Singapore Management University

Further details regarding the award of the scholarships will be communicated individually by the Secretariat of the Scholarship Selection Committee.
